Description: This translation of travels the Spanish made into America was first published in Amsterdam in French in 1698. This early English edition includes several chapters in french as well. It is an octavo volume with original raised cords, speckled calf leather binding with ornate sheep decorations in gold gilt on spine.
Restoration Needs: The book has been compromised and its hinges need to be repaired, leather consolidated, and text block deacidified.
