The 2015 UCI Road World Championships are coming to Richmond, September 19-27. The courses will pass in front of the Library and will affect Library access. The Library’s lobby, exhibition, and the Virginia Shop will be open; the reading rooms and parking deck will be closed from September 21 through 25 and the entire Library will be closed on September 26. Description: New York artist Henry Alexander Ogden (1856-1936) was a pre-eminent painter of Colonial domestic and social life. He was especially well known for his accurate depictions of colonial dress, uniforms, customs and architecture.
Restoration Needs: Repair broken corner, remove typed description from back of board, and mount drawing in a conservation sink mat.

The Executive Board of the National Society of the Washington Family Descendants adopted this title for conservation in May 2012.
