Note ID: | JL94 | Weather Conditions: | Sunny, mid 80s | Report Author: | Joseph D. Lahendro | Report Date: | 6/1/1999 | Location: | Mansion - First Floor - North Foyer (E/R) | Work Type: | Demolition | Notes: | Video and digital photos of space following removal of toilet. Toilet was obviously installed after parquet flooring which continues its pattern beneath the later toilet partitions and flooring. Earlier wallpapers are evident beneath the just removed toilet crown molding and partitions. The just removed plaster ceiling in the foyer is obviously recent (probably contemporary with the toilet addition) because the painted plaster walls continue up to another painted plaster ceiling at the underside of second floor joists above. There is an electrical box in the middle of the ceiling for a former light fixture. This higher ceiling matches the existing ceiling in the south foyer. |
