Notes: The brick and stone trim of the original east wall was exposed following removal of wall finishes and demolition of the service stair. The brick was scarified so that the later plaster finish would adhere. The tooled stone stringcourse or watertable was also scarified.

Notes: Near the northwest corner of the Kitchen (future location of a "walk-in" refrigerator) one can see pieces of the newly-exposed, original rear wall of the Mansion. The brickwork was chased and the stone stringcourse was roughly chiseled to accommodate a cast iron drain line.

Notes: Installation of utilities and framing has progressed in the Mansion Director's Office. Several joists have been cut and some have been "headed off." Existing joists have been supplemented to compensate for the loss of depth in historic framing. The walls have been furred out with steel studs.

Notes: Removal of wall canvas in the South Stairhall reveals earlier paint lines outlining a stair stringer on the west side of the Stairhall. The older stair was ramped in the same direction as the existing stair.
