Notes: Demolition of layers of finish materials continues in Bathroom #4 (similar to Bath #1). As with other 2nd floor bathrooms, the top of the joists were beveled in an earlier renovation in which a mud bed and ceramic tile floor were installed.

Notes: Video and digital photos of new trench excavated just outside of exterior wall, within covered walkway, for a new underground sanitary sewer collection box (at north end) and pipe. Trench is about 2 1/2' wide and 5' deep. No prior building features seen in sides of trench, but excavated material is same mixture of river rock and clay seen in mansion's basement excavations. Could this be an original fill material?
