After the door frames and casings are removed from the 2 Library doors there is additional proof that this wall (the south wall of Bedroom #2) was an exterior wall prior to the construction of the library/breakfast room addition. It now seems certain that there was an L-shaped connector linking the original Mansion to the 1906 wing (matching the brick connector recently demolished on the north side). |
