Note ID: | JL240 | Weather Conditions: | Sunny, mid 80s | Report Author: | Joseph D. Lahendro | Report Date: | 8/4/1999 | Location: | Mansion - First Floor - Ladies Parlor (E/R) | Work Type: | Miscellaneous | Notes: | Video and digital photos of a unattached original door following off-site removal of paint. One side of door has a distinct reddish color, apparently from an original mahogony paint graining layer. This side has an outline of an original rim lock box. Other door side does not have a red tint, which means it was stripped more aggresively or did not have the same original paint treatment. |

Note ID: | JL233 | Weather Conditions: | Sunny, mid 80s | Report Author: | Joseph D. Lahendro | Report Date: | 8/4/1999 | Location: | Mansion - First Floor - Ladies Parlor (E/R) | Work Type: | Demolition | Notes: | Video and digital photos of plaster walls following removal of canvas wall covering. A dark ghost at the top of the walls implicates a previous border on these walls. Dark ghost is 1'-7" high, and has a dark line along its bottom edge. Comparing this room with the other historic first floor rooms, which have also had their canvas wall covering removed, this is the only room with a dark ghost border. |

Note ID: | JL235 | Weather Conditions: | Sunny, mid 80s | Report Author: | Joseph D. Lahendro | Report Date: | 8/4/1999 | Location: | Mansion - First Floor - Old Governor's Office (E/R) | Work Type: | Demolition | Notes: | Video and digital photos of east wall where all components of the later furred out wall finish have been removed. Historic plaster cornice was damaged by later wall cover. At the north door on this east wall, the plaster infill around the door may indicate this door is a later alteration. There is no plaster infill around the south door on this same wall. |
