Notes: Peel Away is being used to remove paint from stone trim at window lintels, sills, and string courses. Shutters have been removed for off-site paint removal and repair. By the end of the day polyethylene sheeting is draped over the façade in order to contain the paint removal chemicals.

Notes: I call Cara Metz, archaeologist at the Department of Historic Resources, to ask her to check the excavation along the east and south sides of the site. No one reports finding artifacts in the spoils. What turns up are fragments of brick, Belgian block, asphalt, and river rock.
