Closeups of brick. The mid-20th century southeast addition has a brick bond that is a row of alternating header/stretchers every fourth course, and the brick is a red color with accents of dark flashings. The brick bond of the original house is flemish, and the brick is uniformly orange color with narrow (3/8" +/- bed joints and 1/8" +/- head joints), buff colored mortar joints, struck with a recessed straight line. |

New lead coated copper step flashing has been installed between the connector wall and the concrete steps (below the new stone treads & risers) to protect the enclosed corridor below the elevated walkway. |

The base, a replacement, is rotted and must be replaced. Polyethylene sheeting has been removed from the north elevation, and from the rest of the Mansion. |
