Don't Forget Next Year!
We want to partner with your class and let your students nominate an outstanding woman or African American from Virginia for the 2013 Virginia Women in History poster or the African American Trailblazers in Virginia History poster. We are offering an award to the school and teacher that submit a successful nomination for the 2013 programs. If your nominee is chosen, the nominating teacher will be eligible to win $250 toward school supplies, along with a complimentary three-volume set of the Dictionary of Virginia Biography (a $120 value) for the school library. The teacher will also be recognized at the 2013 Women in History or Trailblazers reception. Download a nomination form.
