"Books on Broad" Featuring Kristin Swenson
Thursday, November 18, 2010
Time: 5:30 PM–7:30 PM
Place: The Virginia Shop

Join us for the November installment of Books on Broad where Virginia Commonwealth University associate professor of religious studies Kristin Swenson will discuss her book Bible Babel: Making Sense of the Most Talked About Book of All Time. The Bible informs much of our culture, but most people know little about the book itself. In this intelligent yet humorous and highly accessible guide, Swenson uses pop culture references from Wall-E to Battlestar Galactica to help people understand how the best-selling book of all time affects our daily lives. Light refreshments served.
