Search the DVB Biographies

These lists and indexes provide volume and page numbers for each entry in the published volumes of the Dictionary of Virginia Biography. The Library of Virginia has partnered with the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities to publish DVB content on Encyclopedia Virginia. Biographies will be added to Encyclopedia Virginia on a regular basis. DVB entries that appear on Encyclopedia Virginia have live links in the index. DVB entries that have not yet been published on Encyclopedia Virginia include a citation to the published volumes.
