Notes: Digital photos and video, in southeast corner, of evidence of ceramic tile floor system in this area that predates the most recent closet carpet and plywood floor, and the most recent ceramic tile floor in the bathroom (which has a concrete setting bed on metal lath). The evidence consists of the same woodwork modifications described in note 100 above. Concrete setting bed and ceramic tile associated with this wood evidence has previously been removed.

Notes: New wood framing for partitions is going up. The whitewashed ceiling joists were originally exposed within this space under the Entry Hall. All masonry walls in the basement will be furred out with metal studs.

Notes: The walls of the Mansion Director's Office are prepared to receive new furred-out walls. The masonry walls are cored for utilities installation. As with other spaces along the west wall of the Mansion basement the whitewashed ceiling joists indicate that the ceiling framing was originally exposed.

Notes: Partitions within the future Men's Room are being framed. The ceiling joists and bridging are not whitewashed. This framing may have been installed as part of the repairs completed after the 1920s fire.

Notes: The ceiling has been demolished in the North Foyer, as have some wall finishes, in preparation for utilities installation in ceilings and walls. Channels are being cut into the brick walls for utilities installation. Surprisingly, the door casing was trimmed down both at the North Ballroom wall and where the former Powder Room partition met the north (exterior) wall.
