Pleasants expired; she had assumed the formal title on the death of her husband, Samuel Pleasants, in October, six days before this session opened; but as of January 1st, that title dell to Ritchie, printer to the Senate, with his protΓ©gΓ©, Thomas Burling, taking on his old assignment. Still, for the last three weeks of the session, the House journals continued to be produced by the Argus Office of the Pleasants estate.
