The Library will present two free documentary film screenings highlighting stories of displacement in communities in Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia as part of its programming related to the exhibition “House to Highway: Reclaiming a Community History,” on view at the Library through Feb. 28, 2026.
The Library will present a free virtual talk on Thursday, Nov. 6 at noon featuring senior map archivist Cassandra Farrell discussing the geographic impact of one of the most controversial documents of the American Revolution — Lord Dunmore’s Proclamation.
