Indie Author Project is open to all Virginia authors, but there are some eligibility guidelines set up by BiblioBoard.

Indie Author Project Select

All Indie Author Project (IAP) submissions are vetted based on a set of criteria established by BiblioBoard. The best of the best ebooks are chosen to be a part of the Indie Author Project Select collection, curated by Library Journal and library editorial boards across North America and chosen by editors and librarians from thousands of submissions. IAP Select features NY Times and USA Today best-selling authors and numerous award winners, as well as talented emerging authors.

If your book is selected for Indie Author Project Select, you can opt into a royalty-paying program, where your ebook is sold in curated collections via library ebook platforms such as OverDrive, The Palace Project, and cloudLibrary. The program is only available to authors who are part of our curated Indie Author Project Select collections.
