- Notes: Commission form for appointing commissioners in each county to solicit and collect funds for a monument in memory of George Washington to be erected on the Capitol Square; process led eventually to the erection of Thomas Crawford's equestrian statute there.
Only known copies, held by the Virginia Historical Society, lack colophons; Thomas Ritchie, the public printer, was paid for printing copies of this commission form, so the attribution to the partnership then conducting his press.
