As part of the commonwealth's effort to build a statewide strategy to advance Diversity, Opportunity, and Inclusion (DO&I) and as directed in Executive Order Number Ten, the Library supports inclusion for all Virginians, the promotion of diverse free speech and inclusive civil discourse, and a role in promoting the honest and complete teaching of history.
